Chronic back pain relief?
im 19 and i have had chronic back pain for 3 years now and its getting worse all the time. im constantly weak and my hips and knees also hurt a lot especially when im walking around and going up stairs etc.i have to take tramadol, co codermol 30 500 and diclofenac sodium at the maximum dosage every day and they make me really sicki have been through both physio and hydrotherapy and its done nothing for me...even made it worse and when i went to see the rhumatologist she sent me back to physio. she said that she thinks that my spine at the bottom is more curved than it should be.She doesnt want me to have pain killing injections because they only offer short term reliefmy bloods were normal, as was my mri scanis there anything else i can try to help ease the pain?

Upper back pain relief and painkillers question?
Okay, so I have been having really bad upper back pain, usually its either around one scapula or the other. Sometimes its a cramping, sometimes a pinching, sometimes just a soreness, sometimes a stabbing, and more recently a burning pain, but any kind of pain I have is excruciating. I have been to a couple different doctors, see my chiropractor on a weekly basis, I've had x rays, and none of them can figure out what is wrong with me. Has any one ever had this kind of inconsistent, excruciating type of pain, and what caused it for you?On another note, I have always been prescribed Vicodin by doctors, and it doesn't matter if i eat or drink milk before taking them, they make me so sick that I usually throw up. They used to be fine, but I seem to have developed some sort of allergy because they also make me itchy and they do the opposite of making me sleepy. I also have a tolerance to them because of how long I've had to take them. Any suggestions on another type of medicine that might not have these side effects, and might help with the pain, and make it possible to go to sleep?Thank you in advance if you answer.

Neck and upper back pain relief?
Ok, so to cut a long story short I was wrestling today and I landed on my neck upper back in a move. I can move and I'm fine but I'm very sore. I have iced it and I took some ibuprofen earlier but we don't have any ibuprofen or Tylenol in the house at the moment and it's almost 5 00 am. besides an ice pack does anyone have any other good pain revilers so I can at least get some rest?

Constipation pill that was originally marketed for back pain relief?
I heard a story on the radio once about a pill that was originally advertised as being for back pain relief, but the company found out that it also helped with constipation by relaxing the muscles. As I remember it was a medicine that I had heard of all my life but never for pain, now I can't remember the name at all. I was telling a friend about this and he thinks it may help him better than a standard stool softener. Please if you have any ideas let me know I have not been able to find anything on the internet about this but maybe someone else has heard the story and remembers the name. Even if you can through out some popular name brands I might be able to track it down, this is not exactly something that I can figure out how to search for easily. Every time I search I get hundreds of pages on back pain OR constipation OR constipation from medicine for back pain lol.

I did ask my gp and he jsut gave me diclfenac, doesn t help. I do worry an awful lot but this is killing me. I suffer all the time from really bad tension back ache, especially around my shoulders, back of neck and I'm all day uncomfortable and upset. Cold ice packs, iboprofen gel, warm shower just doesn't help nor those exercise. They don't thin xrays n such is necessaary so what else can I try as the ache is misery thank you
