Question: Terrible back pain? stunt growth?

Im 16 and i took a 2 month break from lifting weights due to a broken elbow, but now that im all healed up i started to lift weights again. And i started out by bench pressing 60 pounds, and ever since i had a terrible back pain, mostly the middle and right side of my back. I feel the pain when i jump, sneeze and bend down. 1. When will this go away? 2. Should i continue to lifting weights? My doctor told me 1 or 2 years ago that if i damage my spine by lifting weights.....it can stunt my growth? 3. Do you think this is true? can this stunt my growth?? |
